How do I get an access code for afters?
Leave your email at the door, aftersgame.com. afters is invite only while it is being built, and codes go out in waves: yours is sent to that email when there is room.
How do I sign in?
Type your email at the door and a six-figure code is sent there. It lasts ten minutes. There is no password to remember.
Is afters free?
Yes. afters is free to play and nothing in it is sold today.
What do I need to play afters?
A phone or a computer with a recent browser. There is nothing to download: the game opens at aftersgame.com once you are in.
Is there an afters app?
An iPhone app is on the way. Today afters is played in the browser, on a phone or a computer.
Who can play afters?
Adults. afters is 18+, and the door asks your date of birth once. It keeps your answer and never the date.
What do you do in afters?
A night starts in your own flat, where you pick your look and get your friends round. One ride takes everybody to a venue: The Warehouse, The Pit, Blackstone or The Ring. On the floor you dance, talk by typing or out loud to whoever is stood near you, and meet people. Afterwards the night goes back to somebody's flat.
Can I DJ in afters?
Yes. There are decks anybody can step up to. You can mix on your keyboard, on your phone, or with your own DJ controller plugged in, and the room hears your set as you play it.
Are the other people in afters real?
The people on the floor are real players. A few characters who work the night talk back too, and what they say is written by an AI, in character.
What if somebody is bothering me?
Tap them, their chat line or their message, then Mute, Block or Report. A block stops everything between you, both ways. A person reads every report, and players who break the rules are removed.
Why is it called afters?
The afters is what the night is called once the club shuts: back to somebody's flat until the sun is up. The game is the whole of that night, and it ends there.
Who makes afters?
afters is made by FERAL. You can write to hey@feralclo.com and a person answers.
How do I delete my afters account?
In the game, open your phone, then Settings, then Delete my account. Your account, your flat, your messages and your tracks go with it. What is kept afterwards, and why, is on the privacy page.
